Who Is God?....God Is Light!

"This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin." - 1 John 1:5-7

   "The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." - John 10:10 

   Love never steals, kills, and destroys. God, who is love, comes to give us life and life everlasting, and over flowing. Love will uplift people and when we have love we have God's light. When you know your parents loves you, you are confident but when you don't know that people around you loves you, you live in fear

   "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me." - Psalm 23:4

   'I fear not because God is with me. His love will stick by me. He is on our side and is with us always.'                                                

   When you are angry we do not think clearly and so we are in darkness. The devil has no love and is full of hate and lies, so he is filled with darkness, but God is Truth, and with truth is light.

   Many people live in fear because they don't know or believe their parents love them.

    Years ago when the berlin wall in Germany fell, and communism there lost its power. There were estimated a few thousand orphans because of the war. These children didn't have anyone to take care of them and so America, England, and some Ally countries adopted many of these children. But none of those children lived over the age of 25. They joined street gangs and broke the law rebelled against their authorities and joined different gangs and were in trouble with the law, doing drugs, and illegal things. They did bad things because they didn't feel loved. They didn't know people loved them. They had gotten hurt on the past and so their mindset was that those people didn't really love them and only wanted to take advantage of them.

    Even if our families forsake us but God will never forsake you. If we don't feel loved we cannot live a good life. Love gives us confidence and security and peace. And perfect love cast out all fear. When you walk in love, you walk in life, because fear torments you and causes you to live in darkness. The devil causes us to doubt God's love and that causes fear to come in and then sin comes in and they walk in darkness. Sin, curses, and death came in by the sin of the first Adam, and all people have to die and live in the curse. But now by the second and last Adam, Jesus, we don't have to die, and all people can have life if they believe in Jesus. Some people don't have life cause they don't have God's love. When Jesus died on the cross he demonstrated God's life and whoever believes will have life. Love, life, and light all works together; in love we have life, and life has light.


   "Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”- John 8:12

   God who is perfect love cast out all fear, which lets us life in the light. When we walk in love we walk in life because when fear torments us, it causes us to live in darkness. The devil causes us to doubt God's love and that causes fear to come in, and then sin comes in and that causes us to walk in darkness. Curses and death come in by sin, which is disobedience. And by the sin of the first Adam all people have to die. But now by the second Adam and last Adam, who is Jesus, we don't have to die. All people can have life if they believe in Jesus. Some people don't have life and walk in darkness because they don't have God’s love. When Jesus died on the cross he demonstrated God's life and whoever believes in Him will have life.
   


   When God made Adam and Eve they had life, love, protection, providence, glory, peace, authority, and wisdom. God gave him dominance over everything. He named all the animals and remembered them. He had perfect memory and he had glory and wisdom and security. All the creatures of the earth listened and obeyed Adam. But when Adam and Ever listened and believed the lies of satan, they lost everything. Destruction came into their lives, they lost peace, and their relationship with God. They walked in darkness and felt lonely and condemnation and felt guilty and unworthy and were ashamed. Poverty came in and destruction, curses, division in family (Cain and Abele), and they lost their authority that God gave them. When they sinned they immediately hid themselves and were ashamed and fearful. 

   When you have a relationship with God you have light and life. Through receiving Jesus and repentance you can have a restored relationship with God, and anyone who believes in Jesus will become God's sons & daughters. 


   "But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name" - John1:12


   Adam had to sweat and work hard to provide for himself and his family and the land was cursed cause he sinned, but Jesus came and by dying on the cross and being the substitution for us he took away all that and brought us back the love of God and the life of God and Light of God. When we listen to the devil fear comes into our lives. But when we obey God we have life, joy, peace, acceptance, security, and love. Draw near to God, and you will have joy, peace, and love in your life. 


   Today many people are famous like actors and singers and they have lots of fans and money and we think they have everything but they have immense fear, because they have to strive so that they don't lose their fans and supporters. They are afraid and constantly live in fear of rejection and loss of fame, and even though they have power, fame and money a lot of times they live in immense fear. They live in fear of not being popular anymore, so they try to hide parts of them that might ruin their career, and so they live in the darkness because of fear.

   Prayer:
Thank you father that you are the source of life and love and truth and you are the light that shines through darkness and your life conquers over death, your light
conquers over darkness, your love conquers over hate. Through Jesus we can receive light, life, love and peace and hope. We want to love you and be close to you every day. We invite you into our lives. Help us walk with you all the time. Amen.
