Like a car. - the stars and heavens show God - we see God through His creation -Romans1:18-22 -2)God gave us a conscience to know what is right and wrong. - 3) history -Special revelation, - 1) revelation of God in miracles - 2) revelation through prophecies - 3) revelation of God in Jesus Christ -Colossians 1 :15 -John1:1,14 -Hebrews 1:1-3 Jesus is the ultimate revelation of God to man because He himself is God. - 4) revelation of God through Scripture. The bible was inspired and recorded by the Holy Spirit but was written down by the prophets. 2 Peter 1:20-21 -5) revelation by personal experience. - Abraham's, Enoch's, Noah's, Joseph, Moses', Joshua's, David's', Elijah's, Paul's, Peter's, 12 disciples, pastors', and us. -God reveals to us so we can have more faith. -God wants us to experience his power, healing, presence, in order to have a stronger faith. - He reveals himself to us because He loves us, and wants us to have a relationship with Him. |
